Koinonia,
Calvary’s Wednesday evening program, continues on Wednesday, evening,
with dinner, worship, adult classes, EfM, and Calvary Ringers,
Children’s Choir, and Parish Choir Rehearsals.
Coffee in the Great Hall- Come enjoy refreshments and
fellowship in the Great Hall following the 11:15 a.m. service. To sign
up to host a Coffee in the Great Hall, contact Doralina & Bob O'Connor.
Calvary parishioners care deeply for one another. Learn more about opportunities to pray for one another (today's prayers and DOK), to serve on Care Teams, and to give aid to those who are nearing the end of their lives through the Emmaus Ministry.
Service/Outreach
Soup Sunday in February will feature New Orleans Corn Chowder and Minestrone (vegetarian) soups. You may purchase them on Sunday, February 12, on the first floor, across from the Information Desk, or in the Great Hall after the 11:15 a.m. worship service for $4/pint or $7/quart. All proceeds from Soup Sunday help fund hunger ministries at Calvary and in the city of Memphis.If you would like to help prepare these soups, come to the Calvary kitchen on Saturday, February 11. You may even acquire a new kitchen skill! Contact Merrill Ann Cole for more information.
Carnes Elementary-Volunteers are needed to work one-on-one with Pre-K through 1st grade students or to read to one of the classes, to collect and assemble Box Tops for Education, and to be available to help with special projects from time to time. For more information, contact Betsy Kelly.
Veritas College Prep School-One of the ways Calvary supports Veritas is through on on-going book drive for their library. Consider donating one of the following books by bringing it to Calvary and placing it in the basket under the outreach bulletin board. There are also cards with additional books on the table in front of the bulletin board.

Clothes & Toiletries Needed for Community Breakfast- As the weather begins to cool, warmer men’s clothing (jeans, pants, sweaters) are needed for guests of our Sunday morning Community Breakfast. All men’s clothing may be brought to Calvary and placed in the blue bin in the stairwell on the first floor. Travel-size toiletries are also needed. Bring all the ones you collected on your summer vacation. They also may beleft in the blue bin.
Worship
Sunday Worship Services services are offered at 7:45, 9:00, and 11:15 a.m. Learn more about worship at Calvary.
The Altar Guild of Calvary is looking for new people interested in preparing the altar and sanctuary for all Sunday, weekday, and special services, including weddings and funerals. Contact Gayle Spence for more information.

Children's Chapel Volunteers are needed to help escort children to and from Children’s Chapel and to help lead the Children’s Chapel services. A member of the Calvary clergy and song leader Carrington Wise are on hand to lead various parts of the service as well. You don’t have to be a parent to get involved. Volunteers serve on a rotation one Sunday every couple of months. To learn more about this rewarding volunteer opportunity, contact Andrew Moore.
Wedding Altar Guild Team- The Altar Guild Team that coordinates weddings at Calvary is expanding and looking for people who would like to be trained. If you would like to learn more about helping during wedding rehearsals and weddings, please contact Ebet Peeples.
Homemade baked bread is served during the 9:00 a.m. Eucharist on Sunday mornings. There are a number of openings for bread bakers on the calendar. Please contact Debbie Balling if you would like to bake bread for a service. View recipe.
Education
The Calvary Book Group, open to all ages and stages of life, will
discuss Emily

A Women’s Bible Study meets on Thursdays during the Thursday Lunch @ Calvary (12:15-1:15 p.m.), women of all ages and stages of life gather in the Luke Room for a lay-lead discussion of the Gospel lesson for the upcoming Sunday.
